Admission Rules

  • Children are admitted to school at the age of 2+ for Play Group.
  • Admissions are open to all classes.
  • Parents may register their ward(s) by collecting the prospectus with the Admission form attached.
    The duty filled admission form, with the prescribed number of photographs, birth certificate, marksheet and transfer certificate from the previous school has to be submitted along with the admission fee at the time of admission.
  • The registration fee is Rs. 1000/- per child. Registration done for a particular year is not refundable or transferable to another year. Payment of registration fee does not mean a guarantee of admission into the school.
  • Admissions are granted after a written test and a personal interview with the child.
  • If the child is found fit for admission, the school makes a provisional offer for admission which should be accepted within a week from the receipt of the offer.
  • Note that in all the classes the school ‘reserves the right’ to grant or deny admission, without specifying any reason.
  • Applications for Registration are accepted throughout the year. However, since the number of students in each class is restricted to Play Group and Nursery-15 students, L.K.G. to Class VIII-35 students, parents are requested to register by February every year to avoid disappointment.

Uniform

  • All the students should wear the prescribed uniform.
  • Parents must ensure that boys should sport a crew cut and girls braid their hair in two parts.
  • Classes Play Group to U.K.G. girls should wear pink hair bands or ribbons on usual days.
    Sikh boys should wear pink turbans.
  • Classes I to VIII girls should wear purple hair bands or ribbons on usual days.
    Sikh boys should wear purple turbans.
  • Shoes must be clean and neatly polished.
  • In winters, girls should wear full pants.
  • House dress will be worn on Wednesday & Saturday.

Withdrawal Procedure

In case a child is withdrawn after the commencement of the Academic Session he/she will have to pay the tuition fee, for the rest of the academic year before a transfer certificate is issued. Notice of withdrawals must be given in writing at least a month in advance, failing which, the caution money will not be refunded.

  • If a student is not returning to school for the next academic year notice of withdrawal must be received by the Principal before the new academic session begins. In the event of the stipulated notice of withdrawal not being received, the parents concerned will be liable to pay the full fee of first three months of the ensuring year.
  • The Principal may at any time, without assigning any reason, require a parent/guardian to withdraw his son/ward from the school, if he/she considers it in the interest of the school.
  • A pupil suffering from any disease or infirmity which in the opinion of the Principal will render him incapable of participating in the total life of the school will not be eligible for admission and should the Principal discover such a disease or infirmity to exist, subsequent to the admission of a pupil, The Principal will have the right to require the immediate withdrawal of the pupil.
  • On leaving the school, a student will require a transfer certificate, until all sums due to the school on any account have been paid in full the issue of the transfer certificate will be withheld by the Principal.

Recommendations & Parental Cooperation

  • Parents are requested to go through their child’s dairy every day and guide the child in completing the home work assigned.
  • Remarks made in the school diary must be acknowledged and countersigned regularly by the parents.
  • Criticism of a teacher or school in the presence of the child is to be avoided, as it may cause the student to lose respect for his teacher and the school.
  • Parents are not allowed to meet their children or teachers during the school hours without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Parents are expected to participate regularly in the school functions whenever they are invited and presence of one parent in the Parent – Teacher meeting is compulsory.
  • Our school teachers do not give tuition to their students. Therefore, do not approach teacher for private tuition.
  • Parents are requested to inform the institution about any change of address.
  • Parents should ensure that their ward must take an active part in school activities.
  • Parents should ensure that their ward should not wear any jewellery and make-up of any kind. Nails are to be trimmed regularly.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for loss of books, money, clothes and other items belonging to the student.
  • Any kind of damage done to the school property or premises by a student is to be made good by him/her.
  • Children should be escorted to and from the school by authorized persons only.
  • For information or complaints meet the Principal not the class teacher. Do not meet teachers during class hours without permission of the Principal.
  • Give complaints in writing in your child’s school diary.
  • Ensure that your child comes to school neatly dressed in the prescribed school uniform.
  • Please observe fee schedule strictly.
  • Parents’ co-operation is solicited in maintaining punctuality, regularity and discipline in all school functions.
  • All students of the school should be regular and punctual. Students who arrive late may not be allowed to attend classes without the permission of the Principal.
  • No child is to be absent without a written leave application. In case of infectious diseases the child will not be allowed to attend the school without a fitness certificate from an authorized Medical Practitioner.
  • Students should keep their bicycles at the school cycle stand, properly locked and at their own risk.
  • Students are expected to maintain high values of the school by their manners, discipline and commitment to studies.
